While there are several models under the umbrella, a few latest ones like FQ5986TU, feature the latest 12th Generation Intel® Core i7 processor that has upped its game. Apart from this, you get a DOS operating system and the option of customizing RAM and storage as per your work requirements. Hence, this device makes a great entry-level laptop for students and professionals.
Processor
It is no surprise how the latest 12th Generation processors have increased CPU performances with their hybrid architecture comprising of multiple P-Cores and E-cores. These cores work together to deliver butter smooth performance. This model features a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P Processor with an 18 MB cache. It is capable of delivering a clocking speed range between 3.5 GHz and 4.7 GHz. Moreover, 12th Gen processors are compatible with DDR5 RAM, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth® 5.2 technologies as well.
Storage and RAM
As for storage, you get a Solid State Drive of 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™. SSD has great advantages over traditional HDDs. It provides ample space to store your data and also enhance the system’s boot performance. Similarly, RAM helps in accessing files quickly in real-time. This device comes equipped with two 4 GB DDR4 RAM slots, making a total of 8 GB, operating at 3200 MHz clock speed. With these specifications, you can easily handle the demanding tasks of graphic designing and video editing with ease.
Graphics and Display
For GPU, this machine has the Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, which perform decently for graphic designing tasks, content creation, and streaming of HD videos while consuming low CPU power.
Intel Iris Xe Graphics also helps in enjoying the Full HD 1080p display on the 15.6” screen of 15s FQ5986TU. Moreover, you get a larger aspect ratio of 16:10 in micro-edge bezels, and a matte anti-glare screen with a peak brightness level of 250 nits.
Camera and Microphone
The HP True Vision 720p HD webcam and the dual array digital microphones have the temporal noise reduction feature to deliver clear sound and crisp pictures without any distortions.
Build and Design
Just like all 15 models, this too is made out of plastic. However, the chassis looks stylish and sleek in its Blue body with the classic HP logo shining in the top centre. Also, this device weighs 1.69 kg only, making it quite portable. You get a separate numeric pad on the full-size jet-black keyboard as well.

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
